Explosion Proof Sensors
Motion Sensors’ explosion proof sensors are Ex d certified to ATEX and IECEx and comply with the essential health and safety requirements relating to the design and construction of equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The explosion proof certifications at Motion Sensors allow for customization of the sensor, providing the ability to incorporate a wide range of threading, dimensional, and functional options within the existing Ex d certified product line. Since the customization process does not require additional certification testing, custom sensors can be provided for applications that require one unit up to thousands of units; with lead-times of weeks versus months.
Motion Sensors’ explosion proof speed sensors are available in a wide range of technologies, including Variable Reluctance (VR), Active Sensors, Hall Effect, and RF (Eddy Current).
CUSTOM MODELS
In addition to our standard models, Explosion Proof speed sensors are available in custom lengths, diameters, configurations, and mounting threads. Custom operating specifications (output options, etc.) are available, as well as options such as pigtail leads or NPT threading. See additional sensor customization options.
