Current Openings

Candidate will be expected to do some or all of the following:

  • Understand written and verbal instructions
  • Follow production drawings and sample assemblies
  • Use fixturing to align parts in specified relationship to each other
  • Solder parts using soldering iron
  • Mount components on PCB panels
  • Connect component lead wires to PCB boards
  • Work with extremely fine wire and small components
  • Perform intermediate assembly tasks (potting, sanding, cleaning, etching, etc.)
  • Experience soldering a plus but not required

40 hour work week (Monday – Thursday) 7:00AM to 5:30PM with 30 minutes for lunch.

Motion Sensors is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Inside Technical Sales Associate to support all customer interactions related to order entry, shipment processing, delivery coordination, and technical communication. This role works closely with Engineering and Production teams to ensure accurate, timely, and effective customer support.

The Inside Technical Sales Associate will develop a deep understanding of Motion Sensors’ products and customers, build strong relationships with business partners, and maintain trusted connections with decision makers, engineers, and key buyers across customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address each customer’s unique inquiry by providing accurate information and appropriate solutions based on specific needs and interests.
  • Engage and collaborate with business partners when appropriate.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Sales teams to establish strong knowledge of company products and procedures.
  • Follow up on all supplied leads and ensure internal systems are kept up to date.
  • Maintain consistent, ongoing account coverage, including identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Participate in all aspects of the sales cycle as required, including:
    • Lead qualification
    • Presentations and demonstrations
    • RFP responses
  • Generate customer quotes and assist in developing pricing strategies for standard products.
  • Conduct sales order contract reviews and enter orders accurately.
  • Monitor customer forecasts and adjust orders as needed.
  • Support website updates and other marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of customers, prospects, partners, and influencers.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer and partner satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional “total customer service” mindset aligned with company Core Values.
  • Coordinate and schedule sales support activities with Engineering staff.

Travel Requirements
  • Limited business travel, up to 5% annually.

The Machinist is responsible for producing and repairing precision parts through the programming and operation of CNC and manual lathes and milling machines. This role ensures the highest standards of quality and safety while maintaining accurate documentation and properly maintaining equipment and supplies.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review samples, drawings, and instructions to ensure accurate output.

  • Plan job sequences by studying and interpreting work orders, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

  • Select appropriate machines, tooling, and settings for each task.

  • Monitor production and adjust feeds and settings as necessary to maintain quality.

  • Take precise measurements to ensure parts meet specifications and identify defects.

  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.

  • Contribute to team objectives by completing related tasks as needed.

  • Ensure efficient production operations and continuously optimize procedures.


Qualifications
  • Vocational school training or apprenticeship required.

  • Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience programming and operating manual, semi-automated, or automated machines (lathes, grinders, milling machines, etc.).

  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Working knowledge of metal properties and materials.

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
