Sentech, Inc has an opening for an experienced Financial Accountant to support the accounts payable and receivable functions, facilitate the payroll process and assist in the monthly general ledger close process. This opening is due to internal promotions. Sentech is growing organically at a double-digit rate and theCompany completed two acquisitions in 2024. The person in this role will be provided the opportunity to grow along with the company.

The Financial Accountant will also provide financial and cost analysis support to senior managers and be an essential member of our growing team. The Financial Accountant will be a critical contributor to an innovative company. To be qualified for this role, you should have a degree in accounting and relevant work experience.

Primary Job Responsibilities/Qualifications

  • Take ownership of the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoicing, cash collection management, vendor bill data entry, vendor management, reconciliation to purchase orders and relationship management.
  • Gathering and monitoring financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities).
  • Assist the Controller in preparing monthly general and standard journal entries, financial statements and comparative reports, monthly account reconciliation and cost reports.
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as otherMicrosoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently.
  • Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
  • Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
  • Highly detail-oriented, good time management abilities.
  • Confidentiality.

Experience: 3 years of accounting/finance experience preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
