Dual Winding VR Sensors

This product family offers Variable Reluctance (VR) speed sensors that integrate dual windings within the sensor housing to provide redundant output capability, and are extremely popular in aerospace and other critical applications. Standard models incorporate stainless steel housings, MIL spec connectors or cabling, and grounding to case to enhance protection against EMI and external noise. This line of sensors also offers a wide temperature range and is suitable for use in cryogenic environments.

Physical Features

Body material: 300 series stainless steel (locknut included)
Encapsulation: hermetically sealed, heli-arc welded construction or epoxy encapsulation
Magnet that resists demagnetization
Focusing tip (pole piece) which allows greater air gap with no signal loss
Sensor body grounded to connector pin/cable shield
IR leakage: 100 Mohms @ 100 VDC min.
High signal output for both windings
High Shock and Vibration resistance (MIL-STD-202G METHOD 214A, Test Condition H)
